Next up for the Lions is the 2022 Rugby Town 7s, a prestigious 3 day event held at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colorado.
Classed as an event showcasing one of the highest standards of rugby sevens available to players and teams outside of the HSBC World Sevens Series.
The Lions 7s have been drawn against Santa Rosa, Tsunami Barbarians, Denver 7s Selects & fellow UK side Ramblin Jesters.
Some notable attendees include: USA u23s, South Africa 7s Academy, Germany & Barbados.
Speaking to Men’s skipper & Club Founder Arun Watkins who said “We are extremely privileged to be attending the 2022 Rugby Town 7s. It is an event which a year ago I would not have dreamt of being invited to, and now with less than a month to go, knowing that we will be playing there is incredible! We have an opportunity to put in a good showing and surprise a few teams like we have done in the Super Sevens Series.”
