We're pleased to announce that both our Lions and Lionesses squads will be attending the 2022 Emirates Dubai 7s.
2021, saw the Lions face 3 national teams and fall in the semi-final to the eventual winners, the Russian national team. The Lions were a crowd favourite throughout the matches with a significant quarter-final win vs Qatar being a highlight.
In 2022, with an enhanced squad and a strong management team, all eyes will be on the squad as we return in December this year.
The Lionesses will debut this season, after battling it out with the UK's best in the Super 7s Series along with South Island & Andorra 7s during May & June.
Founder & Men's Captain Arun Watkins said, "Taking the Lions and Lionesses to the Dubai 7s in 2022, was an goal we wanted to achieve, and we are delighted to be able to confirm this. Although December feels a long time away, preparations have already began and we can't wait to be back competing against the world's best!"
